Anita Davis

Anita Davis is a semi-retired executive with extensive international business and commercial contract management experience in North America and Europe. When working for COM DEV Ltd., Anita established joint-venture companies in Xian and Suzhou, China, and managed joint-venture projects in Russia and Africa. Anita was Board Chair of the former Energy+ and is President of the Canadian Federation of University Women, Kitchener-Waterloo: CFUW K-W.
Anita has served as a director for several not-for-profit and business organizations, including the Board of Governors for Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the Board of Directors of Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region (WCSWR), a member of the Canada China Business Council, and Board member for Transparency International (TI Canada). As part of the global anti-corruption movement, Anita represented TI Canada at G8 Civil Society Dialogues in Jordan, Beirut and Bahrain in 2003.
Anita graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Diploma in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Development from American University, School of Public Affairs. In 1995, Anita received the Cambridge YMCA Women-of-Distinction Award in Science and Technology.
