Jane Hale-McDonald

Vice-President, People and Culture

Jane Hale-McDonald is the Vice-President of People and Culture for GrandBridge Energy Inc. In this role she provides leadership oversight to many areas of the business including labour relations, compensation, strategic and succession planning, organizational effectiveness, employment and career development, training, environmental health, safety and privacy.

Jane brings over 30 years of corporate executive, operational and human resource experience to her current role. Jane studied Business at Wilfrid Laurier University and holds a Certified Human Resources Leadership (CHRL) designation. Additional noted achievements include a Masters Certificate in Energy Sector Leadership from the Schulich School of Business, York University and certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Chartered Director (C. Dir) through The Directors College.

Jane is an active volunteer in the electrical industry and Waterloo Region community, serving on the Board of Community Living Cambridge, the Human Resources and Advisory Councils for the Electricity Distributors Association, the GridSmartCity Cooperative Human Resources Vice-Chair, Utility Networking, the United Way Waterloo Region Communities, Blessed Sacrament Parish Council, Bereaved Families Midwestern Ontario and the Ayr Curling Club.
