Primary consideration for corporate donations is given to non-profit, charitable organizations under the Income Tax Act that support ‘legacy’ projects regarding health, safety, child and youth development and families. Preference will be given to established groups that provide services in the communities we serve (Cambridge, Brantford, North Dumfries and the County of Brant), prioritizing provincial or national organizations.
GrandBridge Energy also believes that cultural activity is an essential element of the social fabric of a community. Therefore, consideration will be given to requests that support music, theatre, and the arts.
Consideration is also given to fundraising campaigns for local hospitals, universities, community colleges, and other institutions that provide services that benefit residents and businesses within the communities served by GrandBridge Energy
We are unable to support requests from:
- Organizations that are not tax-exempt;
- Religious, ethnic or political organizations unless their services or resources are available equally to all other groups;
- Individuals or teams;
- Agencies which receive funds from United Way, as our utility and its employees, support the local United Way directly;
- Endowment funds; and,
- Lottery ticket sales campaigns.
