Pre-Qualification Process

GrandBridge Energy Contractors & Suppliers

GrandBridge Energy relies on a large and diverse roster of qualified and pre-qualified contractors/suppliers for various products and services to help keep a safe and reliable supply of electricity flowing across our large service territory.

Apply to be a Pre-Qualified Contractor/Supplier

If you are a contractor/supplier requesting to work on GrandBridge Energy’s distribution equipment or assets through another party, you must submit an application to be approved as a pre-qualified GrandBridge Energy contractor/supplier.

All third-party contractors/suppliers we work with are held to the same standards as our employees.

Pre-Qualification Application Package

The Contractor /Supplier Pre-Qualification Application Package includes:

  • Company profile
  • List of staff and capabilities
  • Equipment capabilities list
  • Health and safety policy
  • Proof of staff training documents
  • Worker Safety Insurance Board clearances
  • Insurance information
  • Bid and Performance Bond
  • Other documents to support your Health and Safety program.

To help ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible, please fill in all applicable fields within the application. Also, remember to attach any other required documents in your email when submitting your application.

Next Steps After You Apply

The Supply Chain Team will confirm it has received your completed Pre-Qualification Application and required documents, within ten business days. Once your application has been reviewed, the Supply Chain Team will confirm if your application has been approved or rejected, within 30 business days of receiving your application.

A list of GrandBridge Energy contacts will be sent to contractors/suppliers once GrandBridge Energy approves your pre-qualification application.

Opportunities to Bid on Projects

Any time we start new projects that require contractors/suppliers, the Supply Chain Team will publish a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those contractors who have been pre-qualified.

Pre-approved Contractors/Suppliers will be invited to bid on GrandBridge Energy Request for Proposals (RFPs)

  • Once Procurement proposals are received and evaluated, the Supply Chain Team will notify the pre-qualified contractors /suppliers.
  • Technical details will be coordinated and shared through the Supply Chain Team.
  • Once the bid has been successfully awarded to a contractor/supplier, GrandBridge Energy will reach out to the project contact.
