GrandBridge Energy Launches Ultra-Low Overnight Electricity Price Plan

GrandBridge Energy residential and small commercial customers have a new electricity price plan option with the launch of Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) pricing, in addition to the existing Time-of-Use (TOU) and Tiered rate options. The prices for all rate options are set annually by the Ontario Energy Board.

Application to Increase Electricity Rates – January 1, 2024

GrandBridge Energy has applied to the Ontario Energy Board to increase its electricity distribution rates, effective January 1, 2024. These proposed charges relate to GrandBridge Energy’s distribution services. They make up part of the Delivery line – one of the line items on your bill.

Assurance of Voluntary Compliance

Earlier this year, GrandBridge Energy (GBE) discovered a billing error that caused a small subset of customer bills in both GrandBridge Energy service areas to include some charges slightly more than the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) approved charges. GBE proactively notified the OEB of the billing error upon discovery.
