GrandBridge Energy is proud to support the launch of RetrofitWR, a new regional program designed to help eligible homeowners make energy-efficient upgrades that improve home comfort, lower energy costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Launched in partnership with the Region of Waterloo and Reep Green Solutions, RetrofitWR is supported by $7.92 million in funding through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund. Starting May 27, the program will initially serve GrandBridge Energy customers in the City of Cambridge and Township of North Dumfries, while Energy Coach support will be available to homeowners across Waterloo Region.
RetrofitWR offers low-interest financing and expert guidance to help homeowners complete upgrades such as heat pumps, insulation, energy-efficient windows and doors, electric water heaters, smart thermostats and rooftop solar panels. Financing is conveniently repaid through the customer’s monthly GrandBridge Energy electricity bill.
