Load Estimate Form Information

Load Estimate Form

The following requirements apply to all General Service Customers 200 amps or greater:

An application for service must be submitted to our Customer Care Department in order to have the service energized and metering apparatus installed. A security deposit will be required unless waived as per the terms in our Conditions of Service.

Connection authorization from the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is required.
The company applying for electrical service, or its representative, shall provide GrandBridge Energy Inc. with a Load Estimate. This information is required in order to size our electrical distribution equipment properly, determine the initial deposit required, and ensure that the appropriate rates are applied. Prior to the service being energized, the load estimate form is mandatory.

Service Address(Required)
Please enter a number from 0 to 1.
What a Demand Factor Is:
The demand factor is a ratio used to show how much of the connected load is actually expected to be used at peak demand.

Formula: Demand Factor = Maximum Demand (kW) / Total Connected Load (kW)

It helps the LDC understand that not all equipment runs at full capacity at the same time, which improves load forecasting and transformer / feeder sizing.

Example:
Total connected load = 500 kW
Expected peak demand = 350 kW
Demand Factor: 350 / 500 = 0.70
Demand Factor = 0.70
